When life stopped us in our tracks, it was faith that helped us move again. After our 4-year-old’s stroke, the world felt fragile and uncertain, but it also reminded us how sacred time together truly is. We decided to trade routines for roads and comfort for calling, trusting that God would meet us wherever the map led. What began as a search for healing became a journey of rediscovering grace, connection, and the beauty found in simply moving forward, one mile, one prayer, and one sunrise at a time.

In 2020, we took to the open road. We purchased our very first bumper-pull quad bunkhouse trailer, paid for in cash with our tax refund, an answered prayer in motion. We hooked it up to our Chevy Tahoe and began our cross-country adventure. We started off camping in familiar areas as we learned the ropes of hooking up, setting up, and managing the logistics of trailer life. Then we quickly advanced to the unfamiliar, traveling eastward from our TX/LA territory. We researched and booked highly reviewed parks, and with each new stop, our confidence grew, and so did our excitement for the miles and memories still waiting down the road.

Soon we were doing it all with ease, falling in love with the entirety of the experience, life in our cozy 28-foot home on wheels. Each morning, we rose early to work out and admire the beauty of the sunrise. Harmoni would receive virtual therapy as part of her recovery, and the rest of our days were filled with exploring, learning, and connecting as a family, doing our favorite things across America. We made unforgettable memories, met and fellowshipped with incredible people from all walks of life, and closed out each night gathered around a campfire.

Quite literally, the things dreams are made of.

It was truly an eye-opening experience. We learned a lot, laughed a lot, and grew a lot. We kept this up for a few years, the memories made are countless, and the stories endless. Feel free to follow along as we share them here.

Those years on the road changed more than our scenery, they changed our hearts, our pace, and our perspective on what truly matters.
